Did They Mention HE STINKS!?!
And I thought the stench was bad before! This brings tears to my eyes!
That new one has some kind of funk that I can't even begin to describe and if that isn't bad enough, he wipes PEE SLIME on everything!
They went to visit Star's slave, Michele--PEE SLIME along the perimeter of the room, on the play mat, circling the chairs--PEE SLIME EVERYWHERE...
The slave lets him out and he PEE SLIMES the floor, the couch, the pillows, even the slave's feet! And she is OK with this?!?
He PEE SLIMES the other ferrets! Cinnamon and Winzig will never smell the same (not that they smelled good in the first place)!
He PEE SLIMES their toys (see picture above) and yet Anubis still gets into their toys and carries them around in his mouth--GAG!
He PEE SLIMES the slave and yet she still carries him around and cuddles him like he's some wonderful thing--she gets the PEE SLIME everywhere!
He PEE SLIMES himself!!! I kid you not! He puts that PEE SLIME all over his nasty ferret body--even his head! What is wrong with him?!?
GROSS! GROSS! GROSS!
Why am I forced to live with these vile creatures? What past sins and debts am I paying off? No cat deserves this! Not even Anubis...
Please help us! Send us air fresheners, nose plugs, clothespins, anything! I implore you!

That sounds very yucky!!! I hope it stops at some point because peeslime is no fun for anybody at all!!
It may last for a year or more! *GULP* His birthday is April 23rd and I'm trying to get him neutered as close to that as possible...

He's been in rut a little less than a month... So there is also the possibility that he may stop soon. *fingers crossed*
How long do they recommend that they stay in rut? Milo had one (1!) day where his litter stinked and then we were off to the vet.
We tolerated it around a month (10/19 is when he started) and he just got neutered yesterday (11/30). It was just too rough on him and the other ferrets. We are excited for him to be normal again! :)
Hey everybody,
I hope your little friend stopped stinking you all up!! how is he doing? did he recover fully from being butchered by that horrible vet??
It's been three weeks now--he's still tormenting Winzig--so she's still in a seperate home (with Link).
He still has the bad stink from time to time, but it is decreasing and the pee slime has almost entirely stopped.
The vet in Brookville did a beautiful job and he'll get his staples out the day after Christmas. He hasn't messed with the staples at all.
He's still trying to bite me more than normal--but he's not drawing blood, it's just nipping now--for the most part...
He did start the crotch biting again--so I wear heavy jeans when I'm down on the floor, cleaning the cage!
But yeah, he's doing wonderful! Just can't wait for those last few boy urges to pass! :)
LOL! Finally remembered to come and check the blog - yes, they smell bad when they are in season, most of them, anyway. There are a few that are fairly polite about the need to express themselves in odor... There's a reason most of the hobs live downstairs at our house! Your boy has two nieces and a nephew, by the way, his sister Leaper is being a wonderful mommy.
Yes, I forget to maintain the blogs also! :)
Sirius is doing great--we just commented the other day that the odd occasional odor has finally ceased (and we are all thankful)!
I'll be posting pictures (overwhelming amounts) soon! Can't wait to see pictures of his relations! :)
